The VDM series vertical machining center is a high-efficiency and high-precision vertical machining center developed and produced by our company. This series of machine tools features a unique and durable rigid structure, along with a wide range of optional configurations, providing strong machining performance. It finds extensive applications in industries such as defense, automotive, molds, and mechanical manufacturing for the machining of complex box parts, casing parts, and disc-shaped parts. These machines are the preferred choice for industrial production and processing of various scales.
This series of products offer different spindle configuration options. The highest-speed direct-drive spindle option can reach speeds of up to 15000rpm for high-speed cutting, thus enhancing processing efficiency. Alternatively, the gear-driven spindle option (for specifications 1060 and above) can meet the requirements of low-speed high-torque machining, allowing for efficient processing of tough materials such as high-strength steel and high-temperature alloys.
Machine Features:
1.High Precision: The X, Y, and Z axes of the machine tool all adopt high-precision ball screw pairs. After pre-tensioning the ball screws, the problem of thermal deformation during machining motion can be effectively controlled, thereby enhancing the machining precision of the machine tool.
2.High Speed: The machine tool spindle is available in various forms, such as direct-drive spindle or gear-driven spindle structure. The gear-driven spindle can achieve a maximum speed of 8000rpm and features two-speed gear transmission, allowing high-speed machining while maintaining high torque for chip removal. Alternatively, a 15000rpm direct-drive spindle option is also available to meet high-speed machining requirements. The X, Y, and Z axis guides adopt linear rolling guide motion pairs or high-rigidity imported resin-bonded plastic sheet hardened guide slide pairs, enabling rapid movement speeds of 36/36/30m/min. For machine tool products with linear guide structure below the VDM1060L model in this series, an option with rapid movement speeds of 48/48/48m/min is also provided. The standard tool changer configuration of the machine tool adopts a synchronous structure. During the tool changing process, the spindle is released and the tool is pulled by the cam linkage mechanism of the robot arm, enabling rapid tool changes.
3.High Rigidity: The main body of the machine tool is made entirely of high-strength resin sand castings, with the bed being a integral casting. The column is fixed to the rear bed, while the cross slide and worktable move on the bed casting, forming a stable rigid structure that enhances the overall stability of the machine tool. Furthermore, finite element analysis was employed during the design process to optimize the framework structure, making the rigidity structure more reasonable.
